Expectations of Behaviour
Religious and social pressures on the feminine. We are informed silently and with instruction, through religion, education and social boundaries impressing onto our behaviour. The language of textiles expresses the traditional expectation of the female experience to be controlled, well behaved. Dominant religions have expectations of women through power differential, creating subservience to men and family.

Dichotomy of Purpose
Feminine domestic consumption fuelled by advertising.
